I found that the "add image" dialogue doesn't work very well if there are more than about 40 images in the folder so I used the "Create folder" button and the drag and drop feature to sort the images into folders. It all seemed to work OK at first but this morning when I tried to view the gallery again none of the moved images will display - the slideshow just hangs with a rotating progress indicator forever. Images that were not moved are still OK I think.
It's taken me a long time to add all these images - please tell me there's a way to fix this without starting from scratch!
I'm using plugin Plugin verson 1.7.25 b1 (second version) on Drupal 7
Even if I just rename or move one image I see this problem.
I restored a backup in the end so I only lost one day's work. But my suggestion is to disable the rename and drag and drop features in the "add image" dialogue for existing images because it appears to work but doesn't really. Either that or make it work somehow.
In other words, renaming and moving files and folders does actually rename and move, but it breaks the links from any existing albums. So those links should be adjusted as well, or the operation should be prevented.
