We have a site with lots of galleries, all using the Tiles-Columns type of layout. We need all of them to have minimum 1 column and maximum of 3 columns (and other settings) and don't see a way to change the default settings for that gallery type. I have gone in and edited the gallery_options.xml file under that gallery types folder but know this may be overwritten with future update. Is there a way to safely change those defaults?
Because we have 40 galleries. We would like to have the default for min and max columns be 1 and 3 respectively. But the default is not 1 and 3. So every time we make a new gallery we have to change the settings but would like to know if it's possible to have that be the default?
