The first time I downloaded the pro version of unite gallery, I could instal it but wasn't able to activate it. This time I could't even instal it. I get an error message saying something like "unable to instal". I have got the latest version of both WP and Avada.

HI, you have both versions installed. please delete unite-gallery-lite from your plugin folder and the pro version will work.
generally you have "update plugin" from the galleries list view, you should update from there.
